I presume that these stats were derived from to-day’s exsisting seniors who are
survivors of a more austere time in History. That being… They didn’t have electricity,
Indoor plumbing..hot water.. bathrooms etc. Tooth brush…Dentists…ER rooms,
Wide variety of food. They survived many more pathalogical ills… Tuberculosis,
Measles, Diphtheria. Scarlet fever and a plethora of ills that don’t exist today.
Add to that WW2… nightly bombing…rationed food and many other miseries.
They are alive today because they had a good constitution and a toughened
Immune system not weakened by pampering. The humans of this generation don’t
have that advantage and won’t make the nineties or maybe eighties. The long range
Stats are based on a false premise….unless…. we under estimate evolution which I
doubt. It doesn’t move that fast.
    Oh.. I forgot to mention… I am in my nineties… I am a survivor…been there and
have the scars to show for it..mental and physical.
