I keep getting asked about good sources for trends and futures thinking so here’s a little list (actually not that little). BTW, this is very anglo-centric, but so am I.

  1. Thanks for sharing that: I hadn’t come across any of the blogs that you mentioned.

    Two of my favourites are Kevin Kelly (kk.org) and a local one here in Ireland: the Geary Behavioural Economics Blog. I like the latter because it explores the application of behavioural economics to wider social trends – something I think we’re going to see a lot more of in the future.

    trendwatching.com – very entertaining source of the current trends/fads
    trendcentral.com – similar to the above – new product / technology developments
    springwise.com – some novel entrepreneur ideas
